Rounders 2010!

On Monday 15th June, Long Sutton School rounders team went to Crondall to play in a rounders tournament - we were defending our title as champions which we have won for the previous two years!

Playing at the tournament with us were Crondall and Whitewater. Our first match was against Whitewater and the final result was very close with us winning 9 - 8. After that we had a five minute break with juice and orange and then we played our second and last match against Crondall. It was a very hard match and in the end, Crondall beat us 12.5 - 9 (to the utter glee of Crondall School)!

Even though we didn't manage to bring the trophy home with us, Mrs Harding was very proud of all of us and hopes we'll win again next year.

Well done to the members of the team who all played brilliantly: Danny, Reece, Oliver, George, Tye, William, Sebastian, Cassandra, Jessica and Melina and a big thanks to any parents who helped with transport.
