We are Benhams Class! Welcome...

Our teachers are Mrs Goodbourn and Mrs Florides and we are helped by Mrs McAlpine.
There are Year 5 and Year 6 children in this class.

Our topic for the Spring Term is 'Oliver Twist' - by studying this famous book by Charles Dickens we will be learning about what life was like for children in Victorian Britain.

During this term, we will also be reading classic Victorian poetry; making Victorian moving cam toys in DT; looking at the work of Victorian botanical artists and textile designers; learning a song about the Victorians and listening to various Victorian composers. We will be very busy!

To help celebrate the bi-centenery of Charles Dickens' birth, we will also be visiting a brand new exhibition at the Museum of London.
