Welcome to Saulgrove Class

Welcome to Saulgrove.  We are a class of Year 4 and 5 children.  We are taught by Mrs Earl and Mrs Cameron. 

We also have Mrs Simmons, Mrs Mc Alpine, Mrs Mobbs and Mrs Sparks helping us.

This term we will be investigating the tropical rainforests.  We will be focusing on the plants, animals and the people who live there.  We will also consider what is happening to the rainforests and how we can manage them sustainably in the future.

We are writing recounts and newspaper reports about an imaginary new discovery in the rainforest.  Our narrative writing will be based around traditional tales, such as the 'Just So' stories.

We are looking forward to visiting a tropical garden to really get an idea of what it would be like to enter the rainforest.
