Children from Long Sutton School have raised over £150 for Children in Need!

This morning, swarms of Long Sutton children could be found in the school hall with fistfuls of silver coins. Their challenge was to try and give Pudsey Bear a silver coat ... and they did it!  An enormous outline of Pudsey was completely outlined with silver coins and the spots on his bandage filled in with mounds of bronze coins.

Several Year 6 children spent their lunchtime counting the money that was collected and were amazed to find the total creeping past the £150 mark.  Many thanks go to Mrs Lambert who expertly drew Pudsey Bear on the hall floor, to Mr Samuels who helped the children count the money and of course to everyone who donated their money to this very worthy cause!
