Year 6 Adventures at Barton Hall - Day Four

The sun has been shining again today...

Which was a good thing as nineteen children somehow found themselves swimming around in the lake before they'd even reached lunchtime! 

Everyone has had a brilliant action-packed day... we have raced our rafts, played 'It' in a canoe, completed the Challenge Course without a hitch and had several terrifying goes on the Giant Swing (rest assured that the teachers just watched this bit!)  Without exception, the children have all achieved more than they thought they could and so are all brimming with confidence - the teachers are very proud of them all.

At this precise moment, everyone is getting ready for the disco - this means that the boys will have a nap and then gel their hair and spray themselves with deoderant, and the girls will be in the shower with a whole outfit carefully planned!  We must go and get our dancing shoes on... None of us can believe that it's already Friday tomorrow - we have aeroball and abseiling to finish off a brilliant week and then a long journey home.  We'll see you then and can tell you all about our adventures in person!
